Privacy Policy
Here's what data we collect, why, and what we do with it.
Newsletter
When you sign up for our newsletter, we store your email address to send you updates about new courses and features. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us at batu@atelo.ch.
Click tracking
When you click through to a provider's website, we record which provider you visited and some basic browser information (like your browser type). We don't store your IP address.
Google Analytics
If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to see which pages get visited and how people find us. Google processes this data. If you decline cookies, none of this is collected.
Performance monitoring
We use Vercel Analytics to track page load times and errors so we know when something breaks.
Maps
Course detail pages load a static map image from Google Maps. When this image is requested, Google may log your IP address according to their own privacy policy.
Abuse prevention
We temporarily process your IP address in memory to prevent abuse (rate limiting). This data is never stored in a database and is lost within seconds.
Third-party services
We use the following services to operate atelo.ch: Supabase (database, EU-hosted), Google (Analytics, Maps), and Vercel (hosting, performance monitoring). We do not sell your data to anyone.
Terms of Use
What Atelo is
Atelo is a course aggregator. We list creative courses from third-party providers across Switzerland to help you discover and compare them in one place.
Booking
When you click "Book Now", you are redirected to the provider's own website. Your booking is between you and the provider — Atelo is not a party to that transaction.
Accuracy
Course information (prices, dates, descriptions) is pulled automatically from provider websites. It may not always be up to date. Check the provider's website before booking.
Changes
We may modify, add, or remove course listings and features at any time. We may also update these terms — the "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
Your Rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG), you have the right to:
- Know what personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to data processing
