Terms of use

Last updated: 6 July 2026

These terms govern the use of atelo.ch. By using the website you accept them.

1. Scope

These terms of use apply to all visitors and registered users of atelo.ch. Providers who enter into a partnership with Atelo may be subject to supplementary agreements.

2. What Atelo is

Atelo is a platform that makes creative courses and workshops from third-party providers across Switzerland discoverable in one place. You can discover offers, compare them, and book directly with the provider.

Atelo is neither the organiser nor the broker of the listed courses. Using the platform is free for you.

3. Booking and contract

When you click "Book now" or a similar link, you are redirected to the provider's website. The booking and the contract are concluded exclusively between you and the provider. The provider's prices, payment terms, and cancellation conditions apply.

Atelo is not a party to the contract, does not process payments, and takes no responsibility for the delivery of the courses. For questions about a booking, rebooking, or cancellation, contact the provider directly.

4. Course information

Course information such as prices, dates, and descriptions is collected automatically from provider websites and updated regularly. Details may nevertheless be outdated, incomplete, or incorrect.

Only the information on the provider's website at the time of your booking is binding. Check it before booking.

5. User accounts

For some features (for example saving courses) you can create an account. Sign-in happens via a login link or code sent to your email address.

  • You are responsible for ensuring that third parties do not have access to your email inbox and thereby your account.
  • An account is personal and non-transferable.
  • We may suspend or delete accounts that are misused.
  • You can have your account deleted at any time by writing to batu@atelo.ch.

6. Newsletter

The newsletter is optional. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email or by writing to batu@atelo.ch. Details on data processing are in the privacy policy.

7. Acceptable use

The platform is intended for personal use. In particular, the following are not permitted:

  • automated reading or bulk copying of content (scraping), except by standard search engine crawlers,
  • interfering with the operation of the website, for example by circumventing protective measures or sending excessive requests,
  • using the platform for misleading, unlawful, or commercial purposes without our consent.

8. Intellectual property

Atelo's design, texts, structure, and brand are protected and may not be reused without our consent. Provider course content, photos, and logos remain the property of the respective rights holders.

9. Liability

Atelo is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the platform is free of errors.

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for damage arising from the use of the platform, in particular for the services of providers, the content of external websites, and the accuracy of automatically collected course information. Liability for unlawful intent and gross negligence remains unaffected.

10. Changes

We may change the platform, its features, and these terms at any time. The version published on this page applies; the date of the last update is shown above. By continuing to use the website you accept the amended terms.

11. Final provisions

If any provision of these terms is invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
