A workshop beats the usual rainy day plans
The default rainy day options in Zürich, museum, café, shopping, all share one weakness: you stay a spectator. A workshop turns the same wet afternoon into something you made yourself, and three hours pass faster at a worktable than almost anywhere else.
Rain is also the honest excuse you have been waiting for. The course you kept postponing because the weather was too good to spend indoors suddenly has its day.
Formats that work at short notice
Not every course can absorb a same-day booking, but some formats are built for it. Open studio sessions, painting or drawing evenings without a fixed series, and tasters with several dates a week are your best candidates. The larger the group a format allows, the better your odds of a free spot.
